<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indexing apparatus which can be easily fitted and removed by a user, and is hardly moved and detached against user's will. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The indexing apparatus can be fitted to a fitting hole provided in the vicinity of an edge of a sheet by sliding operation and is equipped with a receiving part for receiving the sliding operation by coming into contact with the edge of the sheet, a supporting face part which is brought into contact with the receiving part and supports the sheet from both face sides, a projecting part provided on the supporting face part and inserted into the fitting hole when the receiving part receives the sliding operation, and a displaying part for displaying an index at a visible part from the user under a condition that the indexing apparatus is fitted on the sheet.
