PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber having mold resistance which is capable of being produced in good operability by using a polyester excellent in crystallinity regardless of a low melting point, is processed at a low temperature in thermal bonding, especially when using the polyester as a binder fiber, and is capable of obtaining fiber products such as fabrics or nonwoven fabrics excellent in formation, flexibility, mechanical characteristics, mold resistance, and durability of mold resistance in good dimensional stability. SOLUTION: The polyester fiber has mold resistance, wherein a polyester A including a dicarboxylic acid component mainly consisting of terephthalic acid and a diol component containing 50 mol% or more of 1,6-hexanediol, containing a 0.01-5.0 mass% nucleating agent, having a melting point (TmA) of 100-150°C, in which the DSC curve exhibiting cooling crystallization obtained by DSC satisfies formula (1): b/a ≥0.05 (mW/mg×°C), and containing an anti-mold agent containing a triazole-based organic compound as a main component occupies at least part of the fiber surface.
