<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-in type pipe joint for allowing easy visual check of the status of a connection pipe when being inserted, particularly, the status thereof after inserted. <P>SOLUTION: A connection pipe plug-in clearance 8 is formed between the inner periphery of a transparent or translucent outer cylinder 3 and the outer periphery of an inner cylinder 2 for receiving one end of the connection pipe P. An insertion guide ring entry space part 15 is formed between the base end of the outer cylinder 3 and the outer periphery of the inner cylinder 2. An insertion guide ring 14 is incorporated in a joint body 1 so as to be moved toward the inner corner of the connection pipe plug-in clearance 8 as pushed by one end of the connection pipe P.
