<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of transmission torque to a load when a rotational speed difference between rotors is large, in a power transmission device transmitting power from a motor to the load by use of electromagnetic coupling between the rotors. <P>SOLUTION: When ω<SB>W</SB><p<SB>p</SB>/(p<SB>i</SB>+p<SB>p</SB>)×ω<SB>e</SB>is satisfied with respect to a pole pair number p<SB>i</SB>of an induction machine 12, a pole pair number p<SB>p</SB>of a synchronous machine 14, a rotational speed ω<SB>W</SB>of rotors 18, 26, and a rotational speed ω<SB>e</SB>of a rotor 28, regenerative power of a stator winding 20 of the induction machine 12 is power-converted by inverters 40, 41, and thereafter is supplied to a stator winding 70 of a dynamo-electric machine 11 to powering-drive the dynamo-electric machine 11, so that torque in the same direction as torque of the rotor 26 of the synchronous machine 14 is made to act on a rotor 68 of the dynamo-electric machine 11. Therefore, it is compensated by the torque of the rotor 68 of the dynamo-electric machine 11 that torque of an output shaft 24 is reduced by acting of torque in the opposite direction to the torque of the rotor 26 of the synchronous machine 14 on the rotor 18 of the induction machine 12, for regenerative operation of the induction machine 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
