<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit which exhibits improved visual design by enabling an outline of projection light of each light emitting element to be always visually recognized when the light emitting element lights up. <P>SOLUTION: The light source unit 1 includes a substrate 2, a plurality of light emitting elements 7 which are mounted on the substrate 2 and emit blue light, a resin layer 7a which seals the light emitting elements 7 and includes a yellow phosphor excited by light emission of the light emitting elements 7, a dimming means which is electrically connected to the light emitting elements 7 and performs dimming control over the light emitting element 7, and a diffusion member 6 which is disposed so as to cover the resin layer 7a, and has linear transmissivity to the visible light range set so as to visually recognize an outline of projection light of each light emitting element 2 when the light emitting element 7 turns on and also set so as not to visually recognize the color of the phosphor of the resin layer 7a when the light emitting element 2 turns on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
