<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding device, a decoding device, an encoding method, and a decoding method that enhance optimality in a case of encoding moving image signals having no sample ratio distinction between color components such as a 4:4:4 format. <P>SOLUTION: An image encoding device includes an image encoding unit which multiplexes first identification information indicating whether signals of respective color components are encoded independently into a bit stream, and multiplexes second identification information indicating whether all the color components are intra-encoded and controlling the operation of a deblocking filter to be applied to boundaries of blocks as units of conversion and quantization into the bit stream when the first identification information indicates that the signals of the respective color components are encoded independently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
