PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively evaluate a vortex flow as the closed flow on an observation surface. SOLUTION: The two-dimensional speed vectors of respective points are operated with respect to both of the whole of a blood flow and the vortex flow by a vector operating part 26 and an energy operating part 30 operates the sum total of the kinetic energies related to both of the whole of the blood flow and the vortex flow. A ratio operating part 34 operates a ratio by dividing the sum total of the kinetic energies related to vortex flow by the sum total of the kinetic energies related to the whole of the blood flow.
