PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko machine with the enhanced presentation effect in a special game by matching the time for consuming the special game to the playing time to play music. SOLUTION: In the game machine, the special game is provided for a player by opening a large winning hole 9 when symbols displayed in a symbol variable display device 5 are the same prescribed symbols, and the music is replayed in the special game state. As for the music, a plurality of numbers including the one with short playing time and the one with long playing time are stored in a music storing means, and the music number to be played is predetermined according to the number of rounds of the special game. The game machine has a measuring means for measuring the opening period for opening the large winning hole 9 once in the special game state and a time setting means for setting the time interval till the next opening of the large winning hole 9 according to the opening period. The period of consuming a prescribed number of rounds of the game is controlled to match the length of the playing time of the music set according to the number of rounds of the special game.
