PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide urethane foam and a toner conveying roller using it increasing a toner charging amount (Q/M) to sufficiently adsorb toner to the surface layer of the toner conveying roller for obtaining sufficient toner conveying characteristics and forming a good image at low cost. SOLUTION: The urethane foam is prepared by impregnating base material urethane foam with one or more kind of powder selected from silicone powder and silica powder, and the toner conveying roller is obtained by using this urethane foam. Preferably, the powder is bonded to the base material urethane foam via a binder in the urethane foam, and the toner conveying roller uses this urethane foam. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
