PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compute a prospect travel time accurately. SOLUTION: A microprocessor 11 of a navigation system computes the prospect travel time in the case a vehicle travels on a guidance route from a start point up to a destination. It includes: a computing section 52 for computing the prospect travel time, based on a factor corresponding to the driving easiness of a road included in the guidance route, and based on a standard speed corresponding to the class of the road included in the guidance route, in the case where the vehicle travels on the road included in the guidance route; and a computing section 53 for computing a travel time, based on the prospect travel time of the road included in the guidance route computed by the computing section 52, in the case where the vehicle travels on the guidance route.
