<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene-based resin foam which is light in weight, excellent in mechanical strength and weatherability, and exhibits little deterioration in mechanical properties. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polypropylene-based resin foam has a density of not less than 10 and less than 300 kg/m<SP>3</SP>and a closed cell ratio of not less than 60%. Its base resin includes a benzotriazole-based ultraviolet absorbent in an amount of 0.05-0.5 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the polypropylene-based resin. This composition gives a foam which has an excellent mechanical strength and exhibits an extremely little lowering of the mechanical strength even after the foam is subjected to a weatherability test.
