<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tiller which can largely enhance operability related to turning. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Provided is the power tiller 10 characterized by disposing an engine 12 in a machine frame 11, disposing a clutch 22 for engaging or disengaging a driving force from the engine 12 to tilling tines 14, disposing an inclination angle-detecting sensor 20 for detecting the inclination angle of the machine frame 11, in the machine frame 11, and disposing a control portion 57 for controlling to enhance the rotation rate of the engine 12, when receiving clutch switch information that the clutch 22 is engaged, and further receiving the information of an inclination angle-detecting sensor 20 that the inclination angle of the machine frame 11 is within a prescribed angle range based on the horizontal surface.
