<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly release connection when necessary without impairing a connecting state while preventing the connector from being damaged as much as possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This connector J is constituted to be inserted to a fitting hole Fa which is formed at one member F to be connected so as to be connected to the one member F, and constituted to receive a received part Wa of the other member W to be connected inside thereof. One part of a side 3 of the connector J is formed into an elastic piece 8 having a slit 8a formed at the side 3, and the elastic piece 8 has a locking protruding part 8d fitted in a locked part Wc formed at the received part Wa by the restoration of the elastic piece 8 in a reception concluding position of the received part Wa. A top 8g of the locking protruding part 8d is positioned between an inner surface 8h of the elastic piece 8 and an inner surface 3a of the opposite side 3 at a position close to the opposite side 3 while riding over an intermediate position x' between them.
