<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color gamut generating device and a color gamut generation program for setting a color gamut in which crush, level difference, etc. of gradation are hard to occur. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A color gamut information acquisition part 28 acquires color gamut information on a plurality of provided color image signal generating devices 10 or image output devices 14, and a weighting factor setting part 30 sets weighting factors based on priority of each device etc. A color gamut generation part 32 calculates weighted average of the color gamut information based on the color gamut information on the color image signal generating devices 10 or image output devices 14 acquired by the color gamut information acquisition part 28 and the weighting factors set by the weighting factor setting part 30, and generates virtual color gamuts of color image signals to be input in the image output devices 14.
