<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for restoring compressed image data and sequentially outputting the image data rotated only by a prescribed angle at a high speed with a small memory. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An image processor includes: a generating means (Huffman processing section 22) for analyzing compressed image data being the compressed image data to generate an analysis table having information for decoding an MCU group constituting a prescribed column of a decoded image; an extracting means (SDRAM I/F 26) for referring to the analysis table generated by the generating means to extract the prescribed data from the compressed image data; a decoding means (JPEG processing section 25) for decoding the data extracted by the extracting means; and an updating means (SDRAM I/F 26 and Huffman processing section 25e) for generating information for decoding the MCU group constituting a column to be the next processing target, on the basis of a decoding result by the decoding means, to update the analysis table by the information.
