PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction heating type fixing device for extending the service life of a fixing belt, in a constitution of regulating the relative position between the fixing belt and a magnetic flux generating section by a regulation member. SOLUTION: In this electromagnetic induction heating type fixing device 40, the magnetic flux generating section 104 is arranged outside a moving route of the fixing belt 101, and a regulating plate 105 for guiding the fixing belt 101 in the moving direction is arranged inside the moving route of the fixing belt 101. A plurality of ribs 180 are protrusively provided on the regulating plate 105, only the ribs 180 is in contact with the belt inner peripheral surface, and a part of the regulating plate 105 other than the ribs 180 is not in contact with the belt inner peripheral surface.
