PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which is excellent in environmental charging stability, has a relatively sharp particle size distribution and can stably provide a high-quality image without fogging or deterioration of density over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is prepared by coagulating and fusing resin particles and colorant particles in the presence of coagulant in an aqueous medium, wherein polyethylene imine is used as the coagulant.
