<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator for a water faucet in which its power generation efficiency is improved by suppressing a useless flow which does not give turning force to a rotor vane. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power generator for the water faucet is equipped with: a rotor vane which has the center of rotation nearly parallel to a water supply passage and is provided in the water supply passage, in such a manner as to be able to rotate on the center of rotation and has a plurality of rotor vane blades; a stator vane which is provided on the upstream side of the rotor vane, being away therefrom, and has a plurality of stator vane blades which provide a whirl flow to the rotor vane; a magnet which is able to rotate as one unit with the rotor vane; and a coil which generates an electromotive force by the rotation of the magnet. The rotor vane blades protrude more outwardly, in the radial direction than that of the stator vane blades, and a portion of each rotor vane blade located more outward in the radial direction than the most outer peripheral edge of the stator vane receives the whirl flow generated by the stator vane.
