The connection has a coupling portion, which is formed as flange (1) of a heat exchanger of an air conditioner. A pipe end (4) is rolled at a bore hole in a gas-proof manner in radial direction. The pipe end is a part of a coolant conduit of the air conditioner. The coupling portion is formed as flange made of aluminum alloy with the marking of aluminum-magnesium-silicon, aluminum-silicon-magnesium-manganese and the aluminum-silicon-magnesium. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a connection.
