<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a concentration of alcohol, supplied to a power generation part of a direct alcohol fuel cell, within a fixed range. <P>SOLUTION: Here is provided a direct alcohol fuel cell that has the following configuration. When a methanol solution stored in a fuel tank 1 is supplied to an auxiliary tank 5 made to communicate with a power generation part 12, unreacted fuel discharged from the power generation part 12 is made to flow into another auxiliary tank 6. By operating a switching mechanism, a fuel supply path is switched so as to switch a role of the auxiliary tank 5 on the fuel supply side and that of the auxiliary tank 6 on the discharge side, thereby keeping a concentration of a methanol solution, supplied to the power generation part 12, within a fixed range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
