<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fermentation composition having an excellent antioxidative action in vivo and in external use, and an antioxidative composition containing the fermentation composition. <P>SOLUTION: The fermentation composition contains (1) a hot water extract of guava which is obtained by grinding the guava leaves and soaking in a purified water at 80°C and then filtering, and (2) a fermentation product of rice bran/soybean obtained by culturing Bacillus natto at 42°C for 48 hrs at pH 7.0 in a medium containing the rice bran, soybeans and a carbon source, and then pressing the culture medium, filtering and discoloring/deodorization by active carbon and then filtering. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
