<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute the color region, which corresponds to the light source arrangement of color highlight illumination, to any of fillets, even if there are irregularities in the size or tilt angle of the fillet. <P>SOLUTION: The fillet 2 is photographed, while the height of an illumination part 4 is adjusted with respect to each of the parts 10 mounted on the substrate 1 so that the illumination part 4 becomes low, with respect to the part having the steep fillet 2 and becomes high, with respect to the part having the gentle fillet 2. Because of the height adjustment of the illumination part 4 with respect to each component 10, height control data is taught using the model of the substrate preliminarily. In this case, a user adjusts the height of the illumination part 4 so that the color regions, corresponding to respective light sources 4R, 4G and 4B, are distributed properly on the displayed image of the fillet 2. Further, inspection data, such as thresholds or determination reference values for detecting the color region is formed by using the image after adjustment and are registered in a teaching table, along with the height control data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
