APPARATUS FOR REMOVING HYDROGEN SULFIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and compact apparatus for removing hydrogen sulfide.

SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for removing hydrogen sulfide desulfurizes hydrogen sulfide contained in biogas produced by anaerobic fermentation of organic waste. The apparatus includes: a gas inlet 15 which is formed at an under surface and from which biogas inflows; a desulfurizing agent basket 24 which is disposed over the whole cross section of a passage and in which a desulfurizing agent 25 is packed; a gas outlet 22 which is formed at an upper surface and from which biogas outflows; and a filter 23 which is disposed over the whole cross section of the passage between the desulfurizing agent basket 24 and the gas outlet 22.
