<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal controller capable of maintaining a phase difference between signals of respective three phases when each cycle of three-phase signals used to control a three-phase high-voltage converter is changed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The signal controller 10 controls each cycle of three-phase signals which are used to control a three-phase high-voltage converter 22. A calculation part 14 of the signal controller 10 determines a timing of changing the cycle of the signal of each phase, on the basis of a ratio between a cycle before the change and a cycle after the change when changing the cycle of each signal of a U-phase, a V-phase, and a W-phase. After the cycle of the U-phase signal is changed, the calculation part 14 determines the timing of changing the cycle of each phase so as to change the cycle of the V-phase signal or the W-phase signal at the time, when the phase difference between the U-phase and the V-phase or the W-phase becomes a prescribed phase difference.
