摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent AGC processing from being complicated and to prevent throughput from being reduced in a broadband wireless communication system employing a frequency hopping system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first wireless communication apparatus receives from a second wireless communication apparatus a high-frequency radio signal constituted of a plurality of frequency bands and includes a storage means which measures in advance and stores a power attenuation amount from input to an antenna unit to output from a receiving-side RF unit for each of the plurality of frequency bands and when performing operation for connecting with the second wireless communication apparatus, the first wireless communication apparatus transmits the power attenuation amount stored in the storage means to the second wireless communication apparatus. The second wireless communication apparatus includes a transmission power control means for controlling transmission power from the antenna unit on the basis of the power attenuation amount transmitted from the first wireless communication apparatus, with respect to a signal to be transmitted to the first wireless communication apparatus.
