<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit a plurality of image data groups GD contained in printing data PD and change them into printing data PD allowing efficient plate-making. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A stencil printing device 11 makes a plate by using a stencil original paper based on printing data PD, winds the plate on a plate cylinder and performs printing in a recording medium carried by the plate cylinder. The device 11 is further provided with a means 15 executing, for the printing data group PD among a plurality of image data groups GD corresponding to a plurality of pages set so as to make a plate by using a stencil original paper for every image data group GD even if the image data groups GD are identical to one another, a processing of invalidating an unwanted image data group GD among the identical image data groups GD and changing the group into the printing data group PD set not to perform extra plate-making, and the execution of the stencil original paper is controlled based on the change printing data PD.
