<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a plasma display panel having excellent quality, wherein production of edge curls in an electrode having layers formed by laminating them is suppressed, and furthermore breaking and peeling of the electrode is suppressed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the plasma display panel includes a process to form a first electrode layer and a process to form a second electrode layer. The first electrode layer and the second electrode layer are formed by photolithography, a process to expose the first electrode layer includes a process to expose the layer except for its center portion with respect to its width direction after a pattern is formed, and a process to expose the layer including its center portion, and the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer are thus collectively exposed.
