<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber for reinforcing rubber which achieves excellent adhesion between the rubber and fiber at high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A pre-treating agent comprising a blocked polyisocyanate and an epoxy compound, and a resorcinol-formalin-latex based adhering agent are attached to the synthetic fiber for reinforcing the rubber, wherein the block agent of the blocked polyisocyanate is dimethylpyrazole. Preferably, the isocyanurate skeleton of the blocked polyisocyanate is isocyanurate; the functional group of the blocked polyisocyanate has a functionality of three or more; the dissociation temperature of the blocking agent is 140°C or less; the functional group of the epoxy compound has a functionality of four or more; epoxy equivalent is 160 to 200; and the epoxy component is the polyglycidyl ether of one of sorbitol, glycerol, and ethylene glycol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
