<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly precisely identifying a steel pipe by mounting an IC tag on the steel pipe without using any permanent magnet, and preventing the drop of the IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: This method for managing the identification of a steel pipe includes mounting an IC tag 2 on a light-weighted and solid-state holder 3 having electrical insulation, and attaching the holder 3 to the internal face of a steel pipe 1 through an adhesive medium capable of absorbing impact energy, and arranging a reading antenna at the position opposite to the opening face of the steel pipe, and reading information stored in the IC tag by the reading antenna 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
