<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load detector of mental work capable of detecting the electroencephalogram of a human being and discriminating between the load of the mental work of a perception-motion system and the load of the mental work of a perception-center system to estimate them. <P>SOLUTION: The load detector of mental work includes an electroencephalogram detecting part 42 for detecting the electroencephalogram of a driver 39, an eyeball fixation related potential measuring part 43 analyzing the electroencephalogram to measure eyeball fixation related potential to thereby detect λ-reaction, an even related potential measuring part 44 measuring even related potential corresponding to the sound from a speaker 45 to detect auditory sense P300, a λ-reaction comparing part 49 judging whether λ-reaction is reduced, an auditory sense P300 comparing part 48 for judging whether the auditory sense P300 is reduced, and a mental work load judging part 60 judging the loads of the mental works of the perception-motion system and the perception-center system to be increased in the case where the λ-reaction and the auditory sense P300 are reduced and judging the load of the mental work of the perception-center system to be increased in the case where the auditory sense P300 is reduced but the λ-reaction is not reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
