<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of cooling the whole heat sink efficiently even if the heat sink is arranged close to a peripheral fringe of an air fan reducing quantity of air ventilation comparatively. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This outdoor unit 200 of the air conditioner is provided with a base 261 having a surface in contact with a power device 152, the heat sink 260 integrating a plurality of fins 262 extended from a rear surface of the base 261, and an air guide 270 covering chips of a plurality of fins 262. A ventilation passage allowing the air flowing into a heat exchanger chamber 130 provided with a heat exchanger 131 and the air blow fan 132 in its inside is formed by the base 261, a plurality of fins 262, and the air guide 270.
