<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a lock of a compressor without providing an exclusive sensor for detecting rotation of a compressor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A refrigeration cycle device is provided with: a compressor 2 driven by power from a drive source 11 and sucking, compressing and delivering refrigerant; a power transmission intermittent mechanisms 9, 13 intermitting power transmission from the drive source 11 to the compressor 2; an intermittent control means 30 controlling operation of the power transmission intermittent mechanisms 9, 13; and a flow rate detection means 36 detecting flow rate of refrigerant circulating in a cycle. The device is also provided with a lock determination means 30 determining whether the compressor 2 is locked or not. The lock control means 30 determines lock of the compressor 2 when the intermittent control means 30 controls the power transmission intermittent mechanisms 9, 13 to transmit power from the drive source 11 to the compressor 2, and a detection value of the flow rate detection means 36 gets lower than a predetermined minute flow rate.
