PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless terminal capable of saving the power of a battery more thoroughly in communication by a TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access)/TDD (Time Division Duplex) method. SOLUTION: The wireless terminals belonging to a group 2 to be called constitute a TDMA/TDD method cellular system, together with a wireless base station 1. Wherein the wireless base station 1 transmits each user data corresponding to each of the plurality of wireless terminals (2-1 to 2-m) belonging to the group 2, in unit of a frame and in order of a predetermined transmission. Each of the wireless terminals has a receiving function for receiving user data addressed to the own terminal. When the receiving function receives information of calling of a group from the wireless base station 1, the receiving function receives the user data addressed to the own terminal as for a frame interval where the user data is contained, based on the information of calling of the group, but the receiving function operates at a sleep mode where it can operate by lower power consumption than the time of the user data reception as for a frame interval where the user data is not contained.
