FILL-UP STRUCTURE FOR BACK-AREA OF RIGID STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A backfill reinforcement structure of a stiff structure and a construction method thereof are provided to improve the confining pressure about a connection unit by unifying a stiff structure and a connection unit constructed in the back side. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a backfill reinforcement structure of a stiff structure(30) is composed of the steps of forming an earthwork part(10) in the back side of the location in which the stiff structure is constructed. The earthwork part induces the lineal settlement. A reinforcing member(22) is installed in the front of the earthwork part. The reinforcing member includes a vertical unit and a horizontal unit. The vertical unit is contacted to the back side of the stiff structure. A geotextile(23) is installed on the horizontal unit of the reinforcing member. A connection unit layer(21) is formed by filling up in the upper side of the geotextile with a filler(24).
