Disclosed is a compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable slat thereof, wherein X is CH or N; R2 and R3 are each independently hydrogen, halogen CN, NO2, or V-Ra, optionally substituted with R7; V is a bond, R1 is C6-10 aryl or 6-14 membered heteroaryl independently and optionally substituted with up to five J groups; wherein the rest of the substituents are disclosed in the specification or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Also disclosed is the use of the above compound in the manufacture of a medicament for inhibiting Aurora protein kinase activity.
