<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe driving consciousness guidance device guiding a driver to brake operation when traveling in travel environment needing risk preparation motion. <P>SOLUTION: This safe driving consciousness guidance device decides whether one's own vehicle is in the middle of traveling on a narrow road or not and whether the own vehicle passes beside a parking vehicle or the like after t sec or not. The safe driving consciousness guidance device measures a frequency with which a foot of the driver comes and goes between an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal (a pedal reciprocation frequency), and a time during which the foot of the driver contacts with the brake pedal (a brake pedal contact time) when the own vehicle passes beside the parking vehicle or the like after t sec when the own vehicle is in the middle of the traveling on the narrow road. The safe driving consciousness guidance device decides that the driver does not execute "driving wherein possibility is considered" when the pedal reciprocation frequency is not more than N or when the brake pedal contact time is not more than T sec, controls to release reaction force of the accelerator pedal, and simultaneously controls to travel the own vehicle while maintaining an accelerator opening of the moment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
