<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately adjust a reception identification level even in a case where a reception identification level control voltage can not be obtained from the side of an optical transmission system and error rate information can not be obtained inside an optical receiver. <P>SOLUTION: An optical receiver includes: a light-receiving element 1 for converting an optical signal inputted from a transmission line into an electric signal corresponding to the optical signal; a post-amplifier 3 and a limit amplifier 4 for amplifying the electric signal converted by the light-receiving element 1; an RxDTV determination section 12 for determining a reception identification level on the basis of bit rate setting information inputted via 300 pins 8 and a register 11; and a CDR 5 for extracting reception data from the electric signal amplified by the post-amplifier 3 and the limit amplifier 4 on the basis of the reception identification level determined by the RxDTV determination section 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
