<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a portable bar code reader placed on a work table may become a hindrance when not reading, and may be broken due to the drop from the work table. <P>SOLUTION: The holding apparatus 10 is configured to hang and hold the bar code reader. That is, the hanging and holding apparatus 10 includes a hanging member 14 which has pull-back force and whose hanging end 14a is suspended so as to be pulled down against the pull-back force, and a holder 16 for detachably holding the commercially available portable bar code reader 12. Then, one of the hanging end of the hanging member and the holder has an engaging hole 34 which can be engaged with a hook 32 provided on the other, and the holder 16 is held at the hanging end 14a of the hanging member 14 by the engagement between the hook and the engaging hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
