<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately suppress the deformation of a stack caused by swelling difference in the gravity direction of an electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: A stack deformation preventing structure 82 regulating the change of the distance on the lower side in the gravity direction between the end plates 20a, 20b caused by the swelling on the lower side in the gravity direction of a stack 14 is installed in a casing 24 constituting a fuel cell stack 10. In the stack deformation preventing structure 82, the elastic coefficient of a side plate 60d arranged on the lower side in the gravity direction of the stack 14 is set higher than that of a side plate 60b arranged on the upper side in the gravity direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
