PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device for appropriately supporting driving of a vehicle even when a moving object around the vehicle violates a traffic rule. SOLUTION: The driving support device 1 for performing driving support based on a traffic rule of a moving object includes traffic rule acquisition means 11, 12 and 13 which acquire a traffic rule likely to be observed by moving objects in an arbitrary area, and performs the driving support based on the traffic rule acquired by the traffic rule acquisition means. Particularly, the device preferably includes the area acquisition means 13 which acquires a traffic rule departure area in which a traffic rule regulated in the arbitrary area does not conform to the traffic rule acquired by the traffic rule acquisition means, or a traffic rule correction means which corrects the traffic rule acquired by the traffic rule acquisition means when the traffic rule regulated in the arbitrary area does not conform to the traffic rule acquired by the traffic rule acquisition means.
