PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information management system and a medical information management method for unitarily managing various data in association with inspection order.

SOLUTION: This image/report management system 4 functions as a normalization means. This image/report management system 4 normalizes inspection order (task system order) received from an integrated department system 1, and creates inspection order (medical examination system order). The inspection order (medical examination system order) having a logical hierarchical structure is configured as the combination of designations belonging to the respective hierarchies of this logical hierarchical structure and hierarchy determination factors showing the hierarchy to which the designations are belonging.
