<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer system wherein the activation time is shortened with a simple configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The microcomputer system has a plurality of peripheral devices for exchanging signals through signal wiring between a signal processing device and a central processing unit. The signal wiring includes a first resistance means for turning the voltage of the signal wiring in the state of not exchanging the signals to one level of an operation voltage, and a voltage setting means for setting the voltage of the signal wiring in the state of not exchanging the signals to a level different from the one level corresponding to the peripheral device. The signal processing device recognizes the presence of the plurality of peripheral devices connected to the signal wiring on the basis of the voltage of the signal wiring set by the voltage setting means.
