<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To validly reduce the data damage of recorded data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A distributed storage control system includes a plurality of drives 10 to 13 for storing data from the outside; and a RAID controller 1 for controlling recording/reproduction of the data. Each of the drives 10 to 13 includes a plurality of recording unit regions for storing the data by preliminarily set data units, and the RAID controller 1 includes: a data distribution part 9 for each drive for storing and reproducing the data by the data units with respect to each of the drive 10 to 13; and an nECC data creation part 5 for recording the data by adding preliminarily set padding data to the residual data when any residual data smaller than the recording unit region are produced in recording the data.
