PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which is reduced in insulation failure of a coil end popping out of the stator terminal part of the small electric motor to thereby enhance quality and improve workability. SOLUTION: In a stator, a plurality of winding rings obtained by winding windings outside are inserted in order through the bottom of a slot from above the slot insulation part with a winding insertion device and are overlapped in at least two layers or more. In the motor, the connection point that is the coil end of the plurality of winding rings and connects the winding terminal parts of the lead-out wires led out from the plurality of winding rings in the space between winding rings adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction, or the returned part in the circumferential direction of the lead-out wire led out from the plurality of winding rings is positioned in at least one position.
