Digital display i.e. passive display, controlling method for e.g. airport, involves displaying two different image presentations in respective spatial directions in which two sets of independently controlled pixels emit light

The method involves covering surface of a set of independently controlled pixels of a digital display (1), where the pixels emit light in a spatial direction i.e. sector (2). Surface of another set of independently controlled pixels of the digital display are covered, where the pixels of the latter set emit light in another spatial direction i.e. sector (3). Two different image presentations are displayed in the respective directions. Control of the sets of pixels is performed such that an observer (5) views an effect of varying images e.g. film sequences, from different observing directions. An independent claim is also included for a system for digital control of a display.
