The method involves manufacturing a corrugation material (1), and laminating a transparent cover material (4) on the corrugation material. A lamination adhesive is applied on peaks of the corrugation material before laminating the transparent cover material on the corrugation material. The corrugation material is painted before the lamination of the transparent cover material on the corrugation material. The transparent cover material is provided around an outer cover of a cardboard. The corrugation material is provided around a corrugated paper. An independent claim is also included for a corrugated cardboard having a corrugation material.
