<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated cable superior in fire retardancy, injury resistance, and elongation and heat resistance of an insulating cover material. <P>SOLUTION: The insulated cable includes at least one inner layer covering the outer periphery of a conductor, and an outer layer covering the outermost periphery of the inner layer. A layer contacting the conductor, out of the inner layer, is formed of an inner layer forming composition containing (a) an olefin resin and/or a styrene thermoplastic elastomer having a melting point of lower than 180°C: 0-95 pts.mass, (b) an olefin resin having a melting point of 180C° or higher: 100-5 pts.mass, (c) metal hydroxide: less than 30 pts.mass. The outer layer is formed of an outer layer forming composition containing (A) an olefin resin and/or a styrene thermoplastic elastomer having a melting point of lower than 180°C: 50-95 pts.mass, (B) an olefin resin having a melting point of 180C° or higher: 50-5 pts.mass, (C) metal hydroxide: 30-250 pts.mass. A relationship between a thickness X of the whole inner layer and a thickness Y of the outer layer satisfies 0.1Y≤X≤Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
