<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus which allows exact selection of the additional broadcast contents different from the program contents of a main edition of a commercial message (CM). <P>SOLUTION: A TV broadcast receiver 20 acquires electronic content guide (ECG) information indicating time and the contents of a television broadcast program from an ECG information provision means 10 according to a request of a user, and a CM processing part 30 refers to information exactly describing the additional broadcast contents included in the acquired ECG information to extract the additional broadcast contents. Preferably, the CM processing part 30 further lists the extracted additional broadcast contents, based on predetermined classification according to the request.
