摘要 <p>1531774 Switch over apparatus for heat supply in a coke oven battery having thermal regenerators BERGWERKSVERBAND GmbH and DR C OTTO & CO GmbH 19 March 1976 [19 March 1975] 11202/76 Heading F4K A switch-over apparatus for controlling a reversible heat supply to the heating walls of groups of 5 to 10 ovens of a coke oven battery comprises two main linkages 1, 2, each with a respective auxiliary linkage 3, 4. Fig. 1 shows a section through a conventional heating wall 50 of a coke oven battery (not shown). As illustrated, upward combustion is occurring in the left flues and downward waste gas travel is occurring in the right flues. Into the left flues there passes (a) combustion air via an open valve 23 and regenerator 28 and (b) combustion gas via an open valve 16. From the right flues waste gas passes through a regenerator 25, open waste gas valve 5 and open oven pressure adjustment valve 6. Into the right flues passes decarbonizing air via a three-way valve 14 and duct 13. When there is change over of this heating mode (upward combustion in left flues) to a second heating mode (upward combustion in right flues) then all the valves shown in Fig. 1 are changed from their illustrated settings. The switch over apparatus comprises the first main linkage 1, Figs. 1 and 2, for controlling the air inlet valves 23 and waste gas exhaust valves 5 by means of ropes 24 and 11; the first auxiliary' linkage 3 for controlling oven pressure valves 6 by means of rope 10; the second main linkage 2, Figs. 1 and 3, for controlling the decarbonizing air valves 14 by means of links 19; and the second auxiliary linkage 4 for controlling the combustion gas valves 16 by means of links 20. There are also manually operable emergency valves 15. Each auxiliary linkage 3, 4 is arranged close to its respective main linkage 1, 2 so that automatic coupling devices, shown as pins 12, between the main and auxiliary linkages can connect them so that they move together, or can disconnect them. Each pin 12 can be thrust, when required, by compressed air from the auxiliary linkage 3 or 4 into a bore in the main linkage 1 or 2 respectively andcan be brought back again by a return spring.</p>
