<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio access point apparatus of a such a type that a user installs by himself/herself, the radio access point apparatus enabling a common carrier to recognize a location in which the apparatus is installed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio access point apparatus 10 provides communication services through an access line 2 to a mobile communication terminal 1, and includes: a wireless communication section 11 for performing wireless communication with the mobile communication terminal 1; a wired communication section 12 to be connected to the access line 2; a location positioning section 14 which includes a GPS receiving means, and performs location positioning for actual installation location; a memory section 13 for storing a location to install the apparatus from previously acquired information; an arithmetic section 15 for calculating a distance between a result of installation location positioning made by the location positioning section 14 and the location to install the apparatus and stored in the memory section 13; and a control section 16 for determining conformity for an arithmetic result of the arithmetic section 15, so that the common carrier side recognizes an actual installation location with respect to a location where the radio access point apparatus should be installed originally.
